Hospice With Heart, a local nonprofit organization, invited The Franks Design Group to provide professional design services for the adaptive re-use of an existing 1970's building.  The project will convert the building from its original use, a group home, to an eight-bed Hospice House.  Patients who will utilize this facility will be Hopsice Program participants who will, due to their specific needs and desires, reside at the Hospice House during the later stages of their terminal ilness.  The program will offer skilled medical supervision in a home-like environment with social support of others facing similar terminal conditions.
